Note - Sometimes if you try to use too

many appliances at one time - the MCB 

may trip - This is normal and is to protect the cable .

You could try plugging some 

of your appliances in different plugs that are supplied by a different MCB. - or into the stove

Generally breaker should be orientated in the same direction. Usually for the main switch down is on and for the MCBS on is up
